Stunning bronze of a ‘stalking panther’  estimated from around 1870

Artists : Antoine-Louis Barye (1795-1875) – master of ‘Naturalism’

This is a very beautiful piece of art, showing the lion’s ferocious expression

This sculpture was handmade and has a dark brown patina.
